Animation Worksheep I

In 2012, Animation Worksheep, the animation workshop held during the International Animated Film Festival Anim’est reaches its second edition. The workshop was the first of its kind in Romania, and the first edition, in 2011, was a great success. Starting with 2012, the workshop invited both young animators from Romania and the Moldavian Republic.

The workshop was addressed to animators with varying degrees of experience, including beginners who demonstrated drawing or design skills, and a basic understanding of animation. Animation Worksheep produced in 2012 a selection of animated shorts which could be watched during the seventh edition of Anim’est, which took place between the 5th and 14th of October, 2012, in Bucharest. For the first time, in 2012, the workshop included a scriptwriting course, held by the CTRL+N Association, meant to help participants develop stories for the shorts they created, as well as offer them basic notions about the structure, form and content of a movie script.
